Sam C. Oakley, 84, of Germantown, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lorene Gorman Oakley and his brother Hall Oakley. Mr. Oakley is survived by his sister-in-law, Mary John Oakley and three nephews, John Oakley, Greg Oakley and David Oakley. Mr. Oakley graduated from M.C. Williams High School and then served in the US Army. He worked for and retired from the post office. He also attended Central Church for many years. There will be a graveside service on Monday at 11am at Memorial Park Cemetery.
