Sandra Kay Ash, 50 passed away at her home December 27, 2013. She was a graduate of S.B.E.C. high school, a member of Trinity Baptist Church, and loved to teach dance and gymnastics, which she had done for over 31 years.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Griffith.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Ash; her daughter Amber (Thomas) Eatherly; her parents Marvin and Geraldine McDaniel Griffith; one grandson Lem Eatherly; two sisters, Debbie (Allen) Thomas and Patti (Shayne) Smith; by one brother Bobby (Marty) Griffith and several other nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Mrs. Ash will be held Monday, December 30, 2013 at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel at 12:00 p.m.; the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
