Sandy Lawrence, age 76, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Thursday July 25, 2024. She was born on August 16, 1947 in Orlando, Florida to Bob and May Mueller. She grew up in Leesburg Florida with graduation from Leesburg High in 1965. She received her RN at Grady Hospital School of Nursing in Atlanta in 1968 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree form Memphis State (University of Memphis) in 1981.
Sandy was a CCU (critical care unit) nurse in Atlanta, Charleston, South Carolina and Memphis. Beginning in 1987 she taught nursing education at Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Memphis. Upon retirement in 2005 she did children’s bible study.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Tom Lawrence; Sister, Dee Gunter (John), and Brothers Terry Mueller (Joan) and Paul Mueller (Pat).
