Scottie Jane Upchurch, 73, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away January 17, 2017. She was born December 7, 1943 to the late Pascal and Bertie Parker. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Dorothy Riley, Lucille Hollister, Gene Parker and Faye Berryhill.
She leaves behind her husband of 53 years, William Curtis Upchurch, her daughters Melinda (Danny) Savage and Brenda Evans, 3 grandchildren; Rachel Savage, Ally Evans and Becca Savage, brother Steve Parker and numerous nieces and nephews.
Scottie graduated from Oakhaven High School in 1962. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles crafting and, being on her computer.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Family Funeral Care. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017 also at Family Funeral Care. Burial will take place at West Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Collierville Christian Church, 707 New Byhalia Rd, Collierville, TN 38017 or the Lucille Tidwell Hollister Scholarship Fund at Northwest Community College.
