She was preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Jessie Chism Jones; two brothers, Thomas Jones and Jimmy Arlen Jones.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Albert Jones of Memphis; one son Michael Jones (Becky); one daughter, Kereshia Jones; two sisters, Loretta Murphy and Glenda Jones; one brother, Rodney Jones; two grandchildren Joshua and Kaleb Jones.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 31 at 1 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN 38133.
