Sherrye Beals Nelson

Sherrye Beals Nelson, 67, of Bartlett, TN passed away on October 29, 2024. Sherrye was born on November 16, 1956 in Memphis, TN to the late Paul Royal Beals and Christine Sullivan Beals. She is a 1974 graduate of Catholic High School. She spent her life as a loving mother and grandmother, always ensuring that her house was a home for her children and grandchildren. One of her greatest joys in life was being “Grandma” to her grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing, decorating, long car rides, and numerous outdoor activities including spending time on the beach with her family. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Beals (Auring); and her sister, Karen Edwards (Donald). Sherrye is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gary G. Nelson, Sr.; son, Gary G. Nelson, Jr. (Kathryn); daughters: Erika Nicole Nelson, Amy Christine Mullen (Justin), Victoria Dawn Romero; and grandchildren: Payton, Nickolas, Landen, Elyse, Elizabeth, and Alexander. A funeral mass will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church (6529 Stage Rd., Bartlett, TN 38134) on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm.
