

Shirley Zanone Fachini, 83, of Germantown, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015. She was born in Memphis and graduated from Holy Names Catholic School and attended Memphis State University. On July 4, 1950, she married Robert Fachini in Memphis. They made their home in Memphis before moving to Naperville, IL, where she worked as a residential real estate agent before retirement to Lake Oconee, GA. She moved back to Germantown in 2013. Over the years, Mrs. Fachini was involved in various church groups, prayer groups, bible studies and student mentoring, and was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church (Memphis), St. Raphael Catholic Church (Naperville), Christ Our King & Savior Catholic Church (Greensboro, GA), returning to St. Louis parish. Mrs. Fachini is survived by four daughters: Elaine May (Steve), Elissa Lowry (Gaylan), Carol Fachini (Mary), Lauren Fenzil (Ken) and three sons: Mark (Cathy), Aldo (Patricia) and John Fachini; sister, Jean Hollahan; brothers, Charles Zanone (Patricia), and Joseph Zanone (Jo Ann); 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents Charles and Catherine Zanone, her infant daughter, Mary, and grandson Dennis Clemmer.
