Steve William Bowers of Southaven, MS, 69, passed away Wednesday June 3, 2020. Steve was born in Memphis, TN and was a graduate of Christian Brothers High School Class of 1969. He was preceded in death by his father Milton Bowers, Jr.,his mother Marie Gaia Bowers, and his nephews John Bowers and Brian Bowers.
Steve was a devoted family man who enjoyed gardening, fishing, watching his granddaughters play sports as well as enjoying mornings on the porch drinking coffee with his devoted dog Sweetie.
He is survived by his wife, Lanell Letson Bowers; his daughter, Courtney McMahon (Ross); his son, Michael Bowers; step-daughter, Amber Hogan; granddaughters, Kendall McMahon and Lindsey McMahon; his brother, John Bowers, and niece Gina Bowers as well as many great nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Celebration of Life services will be Monday, June 8, 2020. Visitation will be from 10am until 11am with funeral service immediately following at 11:00 am,Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN. The interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 1663 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis, TN.
