Sue Cash Newman

Sue Cash Newman, of Memphis, Tennessee, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 1, 2014. She was 94. She was born in Gipson County, TN. She was married to James Willard McLemore until his death in 1977. She married J.B. Newman in 1989 until his death a few months later. She was a faithful member of Covenant Baptist Church in Collierville, TN, where she taught Sunday school for many years, and was known as one of the Godliest women there. She was also retired from the Internal Revenue Service after over 20 years of service. The Services will be Thursday, March 6 at Covenant Baptist Church, 3170 Houston Levee Rd., Collierville, TN, with the visitation starting at 12:00 and Funeral at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be at Memorial Park Mausoleum. Sue was preceded in death by her father, Rance Cash and her mother Della Cash; brothers, Albert, Ellis and Charles; sisters, Viola Cash, Laura Carter, Flora Nell Nowell, and Lavern Cash; and a son, James Ronald (Linda) McLemore. She is survived by a son, Wayne Cash (Sherry) McLemore; 5 grandchildren, Brian (Shelley) McLemore, Dawna McLemore, Jessica Golden, James Blake McLemore, and Tiffany Toupo; and 7 great grandchildren.
