Terry Rowland, 75, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday January 25th in Oxford, MS. He was born in Munford, TN on April 20, 1948 to the late Landen Rowland and late Zerline Owens Rowland. He was also preceded in death by his sister Anita Ann and brothers Tony and William. Terry was a Vietnam-era Army veteran who was awarded the Purple Heart as well as 3 Bronze Service Stars. He also served 10+ years with the Memphis Police Department earning multiple commendations during his career. Upon retirement, he enjoyed golf trips with his lifelong friends. He also enjoyed classic TV shows and movies, especially westerns, as well as Elvis Presley music.

A visitation for Terry will be held Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119. Military honors will occur Monday, February 26, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:20 AM at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN 38125.
