Sis Velly (as affectionately called) was a beacon of love, humility, compassion, beauty, grace and sincerity.
I admired her personality, dedication and hard work. Over a period of time, Sis Beryl Turner and herself would spend much time at my Parent's Home in Palmers Cross where they would maintain their Teaching Careers through on-going study - I thoroughly enjoyed the times hey would spend with us.
We rest with all assurance that she is at rest and her labour of good deeds will ever be rewarded.
Take comfort Family and Friends, Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted.

Condolences to all  family members, friends and close friends of the late Velma Campbell. I can remember your laugh, and the unique sound to your laugh that causes me to smile. You fulfill your purpose and im grateful for the encouraging words you impart in me. A  great teacher, you can teach; I remember  you taught me at the mocho primary school and even though I used to give trouble you still remain calm and exercise Patience. A Spiritual woman of God; I remember I went to a  Esther fast in Thompson afbcl church and was complaining of not feeling well and you was  the one that told me not to go home because it was the plan of the devil and I stayed there  and you instruct me to get some tea at the kitchen. I stayed and that night I was filled with the holy ghost. The holy spirit manifest through me, I couldn't believe it. It is so sad to learn of your passing. Rip Mrs Campbell!!! We all are going to miss your laugh

Heart felt sympathy to the family of my dear sister in the faith and friend. We are saddened by your passing but we are undoubtedly clear-eyed and hopeful that you are sitting at the feet of Jesus and reaping your just reward.

My sincere  condolences to Pastor Thomas , Deacon Campbell , Cam Vell and the entire family. I am deeply saddened by the passing of  sis Velma. She was my dear friend. We always pray together ,cried together and studied together. I know she is resting in the arms of Jesus. She has run the race and finished her course. RIP  sis Velma.

Sister Velma's faith was the bedrock of her life. Her unwavering devotion to her spiritual beliefs was an inspiration to us all. She lived her life guided by principles of love, forgiveness, and understanding. Her unwavering trust in a higher power provided solace and strength during times of adversity, showing us the importance of faith in navigating life's challenges.

Beyond her acts of service and faith, Sister Velma was a beloved sister, a confidante, and a friend. She cherished her family, always going above and beyond to ensure their happiness and well-being. Her love knew no bounds, and she had a unique ability to make each person feel cherished and valued. Today, I sit  with heavy hearts to pay tribute to a remarkable soul, Sister Velma, whose presence in our lives brought immense joy, wisdom, and love. Though her physical presence may be absent, her spirit and the indelible impact she made on our lives will forever remain.

Sister Velma was a beacon of light, radiating kindness and compassion to all who crossed her path. Her gentle nature and warm smile had the power to instantly uplift and comfort those in need. She possessed an extraordinary ability to listen without judgment, offering solace and guidance to anyone seeking her counsel. Her unwavering support and unwavering faith inspired us to be better versions of ourselves.

As a devoted member of the community, Sister Velma dedicated her life to serving others. Her selflessness knew no bounds, and she tirelessly worked to alleviate the suffering of those less fortunate. She volunteered countless hours at shelters, lending a helping hand and providing comfort to the homeless and the forgotten. Aunty Velma was smiling from ear to ear today as she watch her daughter get married.
This is how I want to remember her. As my loving aunty always full of jokes and always pushing me to go further with my education and always encouraging me to give me life to God before it's to late.

 I was  deeply saddened  to hear about the passing of  Sister velly .My heart goes out to the Campbell family during this incredibly difficult time. To the Campbell’s and Pennants I know too well the kind of pain and total disbelief you all are experiencing at this time, still hoping to be told it’s just a nightmare! The reality is it’s not…. Take comfort in knowing her life on earth was not wasted and we should aspire to model the kind of decency and uprightness she embodies. 

She will be missed with great valume and of course the vacancy will be felt for many years to come. 

Nonetheless try reflecting on the many areas she excelled in; champion of a mother,  dedicated civil servant where she transformed many young lives, community steward, an avid and active church member who served the lord with grace and humility! 



Today someone asked me if I knew her I laughed and said "Ha! That's funny!! I adore her!! She's a blessed caring , loving,Sweet beautiful  lady She's reading this  message from heaven right now. I love her and I am thankful that God brought her into my life.She's the kind of person that when her feet hit the floor each morning,the devil says" oh no, She's up!!!!!!!". I cant find the words to comfort the families at this moment especially those that are close to Mrs Campbell. But i hope my few will ease the pain a little. My Condolences to you Vanessa and the family. I pray God will give you all the strength needed to cope. Mrs Campbell thought my Mother, Father, Aunt, Uncles, me and my smaller sisters at Mocho Primary. We all have the same remarks about her, how kind and patient she was with us. She always take the time out to make sure we learn, even if it means on a one on one basis and at her disposal. I didn't want to leave her class lol. Mrs Campbell has lived a Godly life (the life that we were called to live) she has done her work here on earth and now she resting in the arms of Jesus. We shall meet again Mrs Velly on that beautiful shore.

Sister Velly was an inspiration to all of us in the Thompson Town community especiallyin our little town as neighbors.  She has been there for me, my sis, and bro since we were small while traveling to and from school. She was always excited and thrilled with our achievements as we grew. 
I will never forget her prayers each time I would go visit when leaving for university, even in the last days she would say a prayer as l would journey back home.
She loved God and she showed it in every way she knew best. 
She will never be forgotten.

Am truly saddened by the passing of my dear grand aunt Velma , “ Aunty Velly” as I call her, she was one who always placed interest in the well being of her nieces and nephews. When she heard that I was enrolled in College it gave her great pleasure, she felt so proud, she found out that I dropped out at one point and she was one of the few who encouraged me to continue the journey. She was a prime example to us all in various ways, I know her presence will be greatly missed.

I know this is a very significant loss as Mrs. Campbell (Auntie Velly) is known to be present for everything and everyone without a frown or a murmur. Cam & Vel, there is absolutely nothing to say to ease the loss of a mom; moms are precious and irreplaceable. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories that you all shared. Reflecting on your mom; Sister Velly; Pastor Campbell, I can clearly remember days when she believed in me way more than I believed in myself. We had good conversations and shared some cheerful moments. She loved young people and wanted them to feel involved, included and appreciated.
