William "Bill" Curtis Felts, Jr. passed into Glory surrounded by his family on Thursday, November 18, 2021, following a hard fought battle with cancer.

Bill is predeceased by his parents William Curtis and Geneva Pemberton Felts, and sister, Sharon Felts Baird.

Bill's younger years were spent in Brownsville, Tennessee, where he graduated high school in 1956. After graduation from "Memphis State" (University of Memphis), Bill entered the University of Tennessee to be "the doctor" mom wanted! Due to a severe and unexpected illness Bill was not able to fulfill "her" goal.

Bill leaves his wife, Linda, to cherish his endless love and the many memories they shared; three sons, George Bunnell Felts, Michael Riley Thomas, and John Hughes Thomas; and two granddaughters, Bailey Elizabeth Felts and Emma Kay Thomas.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 24 at Memphis Funeral Home - Poplar Chapel. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM with service to follow at 12:00 PM.

Bill will be laid to rest on a hill, under a tree, awaiting Linda's arrival, in Winona, Mississippi (Linda's hometown).

The family requests memorials be made to the West Cancer Center.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at for the Felts family.
