He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Palmer.
William is survived by his loving mother, Carol Doss; his brother, Keith Palmer; his aunts, Marsha Estes (Terry), Pam Mosley (Jim), and Pamela Palmer; and his uncle, Greg Palmer.
William had a creative and gentle spirit. He loved playing the guitar and drawing, and he found great joy in listening to all kinds of music and reading. He had a deep love for animals and lived his life guided by his Christian faith.
Family and friends will receive visitors from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 16, at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee. A memorial service will follow at 1:30 p.m.
