William (Bill) Dobbs Serex, 79, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Adrian M. and Mary Bays Serex, brothers, Henry (Mick) Serex, Donald Serex, and sister, Mary Serex Parker. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Catherine Paternostro Serex, his daughter, Elizabeth Serex Evans, his son-in-law Benjamin Evans, grandchildren, Alexandra and Amelia Evans and many loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Bill was a long time member of Rayne Memorial Methodist Church in New Orleans, LA. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, October the 29th at ten o'clock in the morning at Church of the Holy Spirit, 2300 Hickory Crest Dr. in Memphis. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, Mid-South Food Bank, or the charity of the donor's choice
