Winifred Proctor

Martha Winifred Proctor, wife, mother, grandmother and Certified Professional Secretary, was born on October 25, 1933, and went to the Lord on December 8, 2017, after a short illness. She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald and daughter Rebecca Gail. She leaves a sister, Linda Null of Memphis and three sons Ross (Margaret), Cory (Karen) of Bartlett, TN and Bruce (Samantha) of Munford, TN. She has 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A graduate of Humes High School in Memphis, TN, she served as an executive secretary at Buckman Laboratories, International Harvester and Cambridge Lee Industries. Mrs. Proctor was a long-time member of Bartlett Hills Baptist Church where she was active as a Sunday School Teacher for many years. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that all memorials be sent in her name to Bartlett Hills Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 10, between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., and funeral services will be held on Monday, December 11, at 2:00 p.m., at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Avenue Chapel.
