Wong Lon Fong Joe, 97, of Cordova, TN passed away March 16, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born in Canton, China and came to the United States in 1936. Later, she married Joe Hong and they operated stores in Tyronza, AR and Memphis. She was a member of First Chinese Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, two brothers, 3 sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews and grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Friday, March 25, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Poplar Avenue. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 26, at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
