Edith shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, George R. Bailey, who preceded her in death in 2003. Together they built a marriage rooted in love and devotion that lasted 45 wonderful years. She is now reunited with him in heaven.
She was a cherished mother to her three daughters, Sandra and husband Tony, Deana Bailey Mittelsteadt and husband Scott Mittelsteadt, and Nancy Bailey. Her legacy continues through her four grandchildren, Monica Bailey and husband Carlos Padilla, Melanie, Andrea Aves-Gutierrez and husband Daniel Gutierrez, and Wesley Aves, as well as her four great-grandchildren, including King Bailey Padilla and Roman Scott Gutierrez, who brought her immense joy.
Edith is also survived by her brothers, John Pasqualucci and Santo Pasqualucci. She was reunited in heaven with her parents, Giovanni and Anastasia (Durante) Pasqualucci, her sisters Antoinette Tocchio and Rosemarie Morana, and her brother Peter Pasqualucci.
Born in Yonkers, New York, Edith carried her strong family values with her throughout her life. She dedicated many years as a secretary at California Automatic Control Service, Inc. in Anaheim and later with the Perris School District, where she supported the superintendent with care and professionalism.
A woman of deep faith, Edith was a devoted Catholic and an active member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, where she generously gave her time in service to others. She also attended St. Vincent Catholic Church, continuing her lifelong commitment to her faith and community.
Edith found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved knitting, gardening, completing puzzles, and working on word searches and crosswords. She had a creative spirit, enjoying macramé and cooking. She also found joy in watching golf, football, and soccer—often cheering from the comfort of her home.
Above all, Edith will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering love for her family, and the warmth she brought into every room. Her presence was a blessing, and her memory will be treasured always.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
