Elvia Maria Armijo,64 years old passed away January 29, 2026 at her home with her husband by her side. She was born August 5, 1961 in El Paso, Texas. She was precede in death by her father Raphael and her mother Guadalupe C. Lazos.
Survived by a brother, sisters and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces. Special thanks to Calstro Hospice who cared for her in her last weeks. Also thanks to Miller Jones Mortuary & Crematory for their kind and thoughtful services.
She had many tiles that define her. But she was so much more. Mother, grandmother and great grandmother, friend and wife. Not just a wife but a Marine Corps Wife being together for 44 years, which she went any where she could with her husband and family. Making it a home in five different states, in 20 plus years. But always coming back to Menifee, California which they called home.
She loved traveling with our family. Her hobbies were photograph finding that perfect picture. Whether it was family portraits or beautiful hot air balloons, light houses, palm tree swaying in the cool breeze, mountains to oceans sceneries.
She fell in love with the Aloha lifestyle, and truly believed in the Ohana Spirit. Ready with a smile, a story and a helping hand. She would make friends to anyone she meet no matter where they were in this life.
She stepped up into adopting and raising her granddaughter. Not just anyone would or could do that. This is the best example of the love she had for her family. No matter what the problems, questions, the situations brought to her she take them on. There is no better example of unconditional Love. Elvia would always be there for the family and friends.
There are no words that can explain what she meant to all of us. God just received another angel in Heaven.
A funeral service will be held at Miller-Jones Menifee Memorial Park and Mortuary, located at 26770 Murrieta Rd., Menifee, California, 92585, on February 21, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
