September 13, 1944 – February 7, 2025
Emelita Acuesta, 80, of Menifee, California, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, of natural causes. She was born on September 13, 1944, and spent many years residing in Virginia before making her home in Menifee.
Emelita dedicated 29 years to her career as a massage therapist, working at Four Seasons, and bringing comfort and healing to so many. She had a natural talent for beauty and creativity, working as a cosmetic aficionado, makeup artist, and hairdresser. Her passion for helping others extended beyond her profession—she was a woman of many talents, she found joy in ballroom dancing, gardening and left a lasting impression on those who knew her.
She had an incredible green thumb, growing a variety of vegetables in her backyard in Virginia, nurturing life with the same care and love she showed to those around her. She was a wonderful cook, known for preparing delicious meals, with a special love for seafood, steamed dishes, and her favorite—Peking Duck. Thoughtful and selfless, she always put others before herself, ensuring everyone around her felt loved and cared for.
Even in her later years, as dementia took its toll, she remained a vision of beauty and grace, receiving compliments wherever she went. Her kindness, strength, and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone she met, and she will be deeply missed.
