Words can never express how  grateful I am for the idyllic childhood that  Tante Fee, alongside Oom Nico and my parents, had together provided us.   Tante Fee  and  Oom Nico were part of the last generation of the Dutch-Indonesian ethnic group.  We are thankful that they raised us in our Dutch-Indonesian  heritage and culture ; while simultaneously -  stayed hip in the American culture.   They are upright moral people who made sacrifices  like  putting  us through private school.  

Tante Fee was a great cook, and kept an impeccably clean home.  She brought honor to the stay -at -home  moms.    She was my mentor.   She had seasons where she would care for other children  whose parents had to work , and she loved them like they were her own.  

She was welcoming to all,  and she was the very best hostess.   She is much loved by many.  We’re
all blessed to have had her in our lives.  

Chris and  our family, and  my sibling’s  families  will miss  her greatly.  Much condolences and love to Van and  Pat .      We all look forward to  someday reuniting. with  Oma  and Occo  again in Heaven.

My heart feels broken for your family.  My deepest condolences on your loss.  I loved Oma, her bright smile, how funny she could be and just visiting with her when I’d visit with all of you, not to mention the delicious food we’d have.  How blessed I am to have known her and your entire family.  I’ll see all of you at her service and  I’ll keep you all in my prayers.

Oma, your sweet and loving nature is what held you close to my heart.  You loved your grandbabies fiercely and I only hope to do the same with mine.  Eternal rest grant unto her, oh Lord, and let yourperpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
