The greatest blessing that there will ever be in my life will be the moment I became a part of your family.
The first time I saw Jhebah I knew that this woman was so far out of my league that I had no chance.  That I would never be worthy.  A sentiment that continues on till this day.
Gabby, the world that you helped create for me is beyond measure.  Your daughter is the single most incredible woman I have ever met.  The two of you have always supported me.  You watched over my children whenever I was whisked away by the sea.  You were our greatest cheerleader and the best friend to Jhebah and the kids.  You prayed for me and loved me and believed in me.  You helped bring me back to the Church.  You saved me!  But most of all, you showed me what being part of a family truly meant. 
The blessings go on and on, stretching out past the horizon.  
That is your Legacy!  For which I am eternally grateful to be a part of.
I just wish I would've told you as much.
So, though it breaks my heart that you are gone, I am grateful for what you left behind.  Your Legacy.  And as unworthy of this gift as I may be, I promise to continue to do everything that I can to grow and do right by that Legacy.  To be kind, generous, and brave.  To be strong of faith!  And to never give up.  Until we meet again.

I worked with "Gabby" at Discovery Isle Preschool in Temecula. She truly is one of the most sweetest people I've ever known. I am blessed to have known her.  I'm  so sorry for your loss. I'm sure she leaves a huge hole in her family 😔. Try to remember you will see her again, in heaven. Love and prayers for all of her loved ones. 

Me quedan los buenos recuerdos de ella , sobre todo cuando le llamaba para animarla y orar juntos , cualquier persona que le llamaba para animarla , ella es la que al final reafirmaba su fe , fe ciega para con Dios , jamás dudo de Dios  ni un segundo , el cáncer desgasto canso venció a su cuerpo Jamás a su Espíritu ,me quedo con lo bueno , con esta lección de fe , el primer día que me dió la noticia llore con ella ,no me pude contener , en ese momento oramos y la la PAZ de Dios nos cubrió , así lo sentí ! Ella descansando está de esa enfermedad que vivió , pero Gozando De la paz que sobrepasa todo entendimiento
La chata , jícama de agua ,asi mamá te decía ,en la casa siempre tu la ayudabas , después la distancia no fue barrera por ara segura apoyando , siempre alegre ,siempre dispuesta a vivir con valor , ejemplo dejaste ,  vida  abundante que Cristo nos da , solo el Sabe por qué te llamo , y mientras no el fuerzas te dió , alegre estás , un dios te veré y juntos alabaremos a Él

Héctor, Samantha, Israel y Cristopher, así como nietos y conyugues, reciban mi mas sentido pésame, son dos sentimientos a la vez, la tranquilidad al saber que Gabriela ya descansa en  Paz y también la  tristeza porque ya se ha ido al mas allá,  al descanso eterno. Estoy en duelo. Siento la ausencia de La Chata y a la vez se que siempre va a estar en mi corazón.  En nuestra familia mi mama , mi papa y  los 9 hermanos  y así va a ser siempre.

I remember my aunt Gabby always being a kind and gentle soul. Her calm and kind demeanor was always nurturing. My fondest memory was when she came to Tucson and visited us with Ague. I remember one day she expressed to me that she had difficulties finding the right makeup for her face. I told her I would love for her to try my Bare Minerals. She allowed me do her makeup and she was pleasantly surprised with how nice it looked. I had brand new makeup and makeup brushes and gave them to her as a gift. She was so surprised. She was so thankful and grateful. It made me so happy to see her happy about how she looked. It was a pleasure to do her makeup. That moment we bonded and I was honored to help her discover something that improved her confidence. That special moment will live in my heart forever. 

I love you, Madre! Thank you for always being there for me and the kids; we have been truly blessed to have you in our lives.

 One word keeps echoing in my being - thankful. Thankful to the Lord for arranging everything so that I could be your niece and sister in Christ. You have been a pattern of what it is to be a normal believer - living under the divine dispensing, enjoying and experiencing Christ.

I am going to miss you very much. I am thankful for the love that you gave me. I will always remember you for the goodness in your heart towards us. Like Jesus says, “And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:31

 Where do I begin trying to explain how you expressed this towards me? Perhaps the day you came and got me out of the police station? Or maybe when you answered the call as I was trying to cook for the first time and you showed me how to make ground beef with corn over the phone. Or maybe when you found it in your heart to help watch my daughters while I went to school.  Or perhaps when we were at Disneyland and I decided to get kicked out 🤦🏼‍♂️? There are a lot of reasons for anyone to say, “this kid is no bueno, this kid is bad news, this kid is not going anywhere.” But you never expressed that, you always kept your heart opened, you always loved me regardless of the mess I carried. You showed kindness, you showed grace, you forgave, you never judged (even though you might have had the right too) you showed love. As I cry up writing this, I am going to miss you. I am going to miss your hugs, your laugh, your hospitality and the conversations we had.

Mom you were more than just a Mother to me, you were my best friend. As my best friend you were always there for me. You listened, you gave me your opinion, you guided me, and you made me face the truth no matter how difficult it was. At the end of every situation, trial or tribulation you would say “leave it to the Lord”.  I will miss and treasure our conversation on the phone on my way home from work. I will miss you saying “ Izzy Boy cómo estás Mijo” You always worried about me. You always wanted to make sure I was okay. I know for years and years you suffered because I was suffering. I know you prayed for me unceasingly to the Lord that one day I would be happy and no longer suffering.  I’m glad that before the Lord took you, you were able to have peace in your heat and see your prayers come to fruition that your Izzy Boy found happiness. I’m going to miss you every day. Until I see you again.

Thank you for always making sure I had my chicken nuggets and Mac and Cheese. I am going to miss you saying “Jonas, Jonas, Jonas” and I would fall on the ground as you said “Oh my gosh Jonas” I will miss playing I spy, and you would say “ I spy with my little eye”.  I will miss you so much Ague.  I love you.

Ague, you are the reason I am so outgoing in life. Helping me try new things and not to be shy. Your First Chamaco.

It is with heavy heart that I write this, but It is necessary for people to know how beautiful of a person my Auntie Gaby was. She was very welcoming, loving and always cared for others. Every time I would visit, she would always make sure that I ate something and that was very nice of her. When I was called to do Christian rap, she was one of my main supporters. She used to tell me that she was my number one fan. She was a woman of God that loved the Lord Jesus and loved her family. I will miss her dearly and I know I will see her again one day. I love you, Tia Gaby. 

My Ague had one of the most purest souls i’ve ever seen. She was always so enthusiastic about life and has always been there for my brothers and I. Her creativity was one of my favorite things about her. I used to love doing crafts with her when Miyah and I were little. Now, I base my entire future career around the creativity she surrounded me with. I thank her for who I’ve become today. I love you forever, Ague. 

Ague,  thank you for always sewing all of my stuffed animals.  My momma now needs to learn how to sow so she can fix them.  Ague, I will miss playing I spy with you.  Thank you for always loving us and playing games with us even when you felt very sick.  I love you and will miss you.

Madre, no hay palabras que puedan describir el dolor que tengo al saber que lla no te tengo aquí fisicamente.   No me imagino mi vida sin ti! Muchas veces pasamos por situaciones muy fuertes, dificiles y que no entendemos, pero Dios siempre tiene un plan para cada cosa y el es perfecto, y todo lo que pasamos esta bajo su soberania y el decida de nosotros, y tarde o temprano El nos hace ver el por que aquello que pasamos, y comenzamos a experimentar cambios y cosas que nunca te imaginas entonces decimos valio la pena las cosas dificiles… Senor Jesus
