two years, can you believe it? i still think about you all the time, august is the worst month, it will always be the month i lost you. the hardest part is i see so many things id like to send you, and show you, and tell you about my life. i can only hope you’re watching it all from where you are, relaxing and enjoying yourself. i will always hold onto all of our memories and silly times for now. i’ll be with you again one day, just wait a little longer for me and we can catch up before you know it. i love you so much. -katie jean goss

Condolences to all the Family & Friends of Graham, who was known affectionately in the Town of Warrington, where we grew up, as “Wilf”. Always seen wearing his Suzuki, Barry Sheene leather bikers jacket.

I’ve known Graham, since Senior School days at Richard Fairclough (which is known locally as Dicky Flourbags).

He was a year older than me & I was also in the same class at school, with one of his sisters, Diane.

I met Gray socially in my last couple of years at school & we became lifelong friends.

We all used to gather in Latchford village & watch everyone with a 
motorbike or moped, tear around the block on the one way system, 
near Bella’s cafe.

Later, when we’d left school, Graham stated work in Lymm at Stockies Wood yard & we’d all meet socially, usually on a Thursday night at the Feathers ‘bikers’ pub, then cross Bridge Street later & go upstairs at the Lion, until the early hours, listening to a Rock DJ, usually Bob ‘Rock’ Hayes, Black Bullet or Pyramid Disco.

Friday night was again the Feathers, then the back bar of the Lion for another rock disco, before staggering off, like wheelbarrows with buckled wheels, to the Carlton club for an early morning rock disco.

Saturday afternoon’s was always the Feather’s.

Saturday night, we’d all be back there, then across the road & upstairs to the Lion, where we’d watch a live band & listen to a rock disco.

Before our time, Deep Purple had played the Lion & along with Wilf, we’d watched a fledgling Iron Maiden preform on the 24/11/1979.

Family, living life to the full, rock music, motorbikes & Guinness, were but a few of Graham’s passion.

One memorable occasion was Friday 08/08/1980, when about 30 of us, went by train to Earls Court in to watch Pink Floyd preform ‘The Wall’ & Wilf led us all on beer crawl around London following  Guinness pub signs.

Graham was a character, legend & was loved by all who met him and will missed by all, who had the privilege to know him.

R.I.P. Wilf.

In my heart you will live forever because I thought the world of you. My Wonderful Nephew Graham  Will Miss You So Much  xx

i’ll never stop missing you dad. i’ll always remember you as a charming outgoing person. i remember when we took your van to vegas and had ourselves a mini road trip. you made friends with the bartender and other people sitting around us so quickly, you made them laugh. that will always remind me of the kind of person you were, you could get along with anyone and talk to them and joke around like you’ve known them for
 years. i know how much you loved me and i’ll never forget it either. we will meet again one day, dad. that is one thing i’m sure of. -Love, Katie Jean Goss 

Graham was a much loved Nephew, and was blessed with many friends . We will all greatly miss him .

I send my condolences to Graham’s family and friends. I’m so sorry for your loss. It was such a pleasure to have met and known Graham. He was so kind and welcoming towards me. I met Graham in Murphy’s Bar when I was visiting my Dad in Long Beach from the U.K. We joked and shared conversations across the bar which created lovely memories for me which will always be fondly remembered. This isn’t goodbye, it’s see you later and make sure you’re having a drink for us!
