Richard Warren Fox, 82, passed away on April 11, 2026. Born March 9, 1944, Richard was an adventurous man who was deeply loved as a son, dad, grandpa, and great grandpa. He went peacefully, and—true to the way he often put it—“when your number is up, it’s up.” His number was called on 04112026, and he was called home to join God, along with his mother, father, brothers and sisters, other relatives, and friends.
One of Richard’s greatest loves—his hobby and his profession—was motorcycle racing. His grandsons called him “THE FONZE” because they thought he was so cool. He enjoyed building motorcycles and going fast, and he could always bring a smile by teasing the great-grands, calling them something other than their own names. In the hearts of those who knew him best, Richard can now “slide sideways into the clouds for eternity,” forever number 65.
Richard Fox took in three little girls and loved them as his own. He was never considered a stepdad—he was their father. Tracy, Dawn, and Mary remain eternally grateful for his love and devotion, and they thank him for loving them as he did.
Richard is survived by his children: Tracy, Mary, Richard, Michael, and Kerry.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Dana and Sean; Michelle, Karaly, Cory; Rhiannon, Jorel, Shane; and Amy, Andrea, David.
He is further survived by his great-grandchildren: Alison, Bella, Abby, Ryan; Brendan, Colton, Bentley, Maliyah, Emersyn; Karissa, Joseph, Leeland, Jayden, Brayden; Stevie; and Kendall, Nolan, Brett.
Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Emma Fox (Brock); his father, Harold Gilbert Fox; his brothers, John Fox and Harold Fox; and his sisters, Judy and Peggy(Margaret). He was also preceded in death by his child, Dawn, and his great-grandchild, Dameion.
