Rodolfo Gudiel Crosthwaite

Rodolfo "Gudiel" Crosthwaite, a beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away on March 2, 2024 at the age of 73, leaving behind a legacy of love, friendship, and memories. He was born on May 25, 1950, in Baja California, Mexico, to the loving embrace of his parents Adolfo Crosthwaite and Consuelo Corona.

Gudiel was the cherished fourth son and sibling to Amelia, Javier, Adolfo, Arturo, Valdo, Gabriel, and Miriam. His early years were marked by the bonds of family and his upbringing in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.

In the journey of life, Gudiel found Rosa Fuentes. Together, they embarked on an adventure that led them to Los Angeles, leaving behind the familiar landscapes of their family and where they grew up. They settled predominantly in Bell Gardens, where they welcomed four children into their lives: Gudiel, Adrian, Moises, and Cynthia. Gudiel found his greatest joy and fulfillment in the role of being a grandfather, dedicating himself wholeheartedly to the well-being and happiness of his grandchildren.

Gudiel Crosthwaite had a gift for storytelling, weaving tales that captivated the hearts and imaginations of all who listened. He found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially in the saddle of a horse, where he felt most alive and free.

Above all, Gudiel cherished his children. Their successes and happiness were his proudest achievements. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In his passing, Gudiel leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and a demonstrated example that it's never too late to change. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit and the wisdom he passed onto others lives on in the hearts of those who were touched by him.

Gudiel Crosthwaite will be forever remembered and dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing him. May his soul find eternal peace and may his memory continue to inspire love and compassion in the hearts of those who mourn his loss.

A visitation for Gudiel will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Miller Jones Menifee Memorial Park and Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Menifee, CA 92585.

A funeral service will occur Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Menifee, CA 92585.

A reception will occur Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Menifee, CA 92585.
