

Ronald Myrick Loomis, 88, of Hemet, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025. Born on June 04, 1937, in Hollywood, California. Ron was a beloved husband and a devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Ron had a long career as an innovator and salesman in the medical field. He was passionate in his early days about boat racing. As a proud alumni, he rarely missed a game supporting his beloved USC Trojans. He even named his son Troy after his Alma mater. He was also an active member of the Elks Lodge and made friends wherever he went. His love for travel was evident as he explored countless countries throughout his lifetime. He was an excellent conversationalist and he could always be counted on for smiles and warm hugs. Ron further served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves in the early 1960’s.
Ron is survived by his son, Troy Kent Loomis, Sr. (Julie) from Sugar Bush Knolls, Ohio, as well as his step daughter, Terrill Finton from Hayden, ID, step son Rodney Hennum (Paulette) from Sacramento, CA and step son Randy Hennum, from Aguanga, CA. Also survived by special friend, Mary Jo Heiden.
Also survived by his grandchildren, Troy Kent Loomis, Jr. (Sara), Victoria Lynn Loomis, Mariah Lee Priest, and step grandchildren Kendra Briggs (Daniel Ebeling), Brooke Sexton (Bryan), Robert Hennum, Rebecca Hennum.
Also survived by his great grandchildren Theodore Logan Loomis-Plant, Olivia Leigh Loomis-Plant, Addison Boykin, Carly Boykin and step great grandchildren Kurtis Ebeling, Baily Briggs, Ryen Sexton, Liam Sexton, Owen Sexton.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Louise Loomis-Priest; his wife, Betty Loomis and his father and mother, Cecil and Betty Loomis.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in the name of Ron Loomis, to any charity of choice. A private celebration of life will be held to honor him in the coming days.
