Suzanne Marie Rodriguez

Suzy was blessed to be loved by her biological mother and stepfather, Judy and Joe (“Red”) Henry, as well as her adoptive parents, Ruth and Bob Young.

Suzy enjoyed dancing and was a cheer captain at Jordan High School in Long Beach, CA. She had a deep love for people—from family and friends to strangers she met at the supermarket—and no one ever felt alone in her presence.

She married her husband, Vincent Rodriguez, on April 26, 2009. Together, they built a life in Sun City and enjoyed sneaking away for weekend getaways to Soboba.

Suzy was a proud breast cancer survivor and had been in remission for five years. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and loved hearing them call her “Nana.”

She is survived by Judy and Joe (“Red”) Henry; her loving husband, Vincent (“Vince”) Rodriguez; her three children and their spouses: Cynthia and Geno Wagner, Mike and Dominique Cauldwell, and Monica and Reuben Gonzales; as well as her bonus children, Vince Jr. and Rick Rodriguez.

She is also survived by her grandchildren—Gabriel, Benjamin, Samuel, Harper, Logan, Alila, Gaby, Ricky, Rylan, and Jordan; her beloved cat Pepper and her grand-dogs: Oswin, Coco, Reagan, Coal, and Charlie. She is also remembered by numerous extended family and friends whom all held a special place in her heart.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends can either donate to the upcoming Celebration of Life or make a donation in Suzanne's name to a Breast cancer Awareness nonprofit.
