Capptan Jon Benjman Hicks

Capptan Jon Benjman Hicks a long time resident of Merced CA, passed away on January 06, 2015 at the age of 37, after being hit by a city truck while on his ATV near the canal bank of the Beachwood area where he grew up. Capptan leaves behind his three beautiful daughters that he loved with all his heart, Ashlen, Jadelyn and Jazzmen Hicks. He was a loving son to Mike Hicks and Debbie (Brian) Veenstra, brother to Laci, Lori, Genie, and Autumn, Jacob, Caleb, Brian and Amber. Capptan was the grandson of Paternal Grandparents L. Eugene and Dora Hicks and Maternal grandson to George and Shirley McKinnon and Grandson to Lucille Veenstra. Capptans Hobbies included fishing, gold panning, riding his quad, cracking jokes, eating and most importantly…. Chasing girls. He had an outgoing personality and a quick wit and sarcastic comments. He will be misses by all of us that loved him and we will never forget him!! “Hope you`re living it big up there Dad!
