Constance B. Wright

Constance B Wright-Morales (Connie) passed away Saturday December 7, 2013 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida at the age of 63. She was born August 6, 1950 in San Francisco, California to Aristide Joseph Morales, SR and Evelyn Morales (Carey). Growing up, she attended Mission and Balboa High Schools in Hunter’s Point, where she excelled and received numerous awards for track and softball. She was a hard worker, showing dedication and commitment to everything she took part in. Before moving to Merced in 1985, Connie and her family resided in Potrero Hill. Once in Merced, she began working at Hy-Lond Healthcare and worked there for 23 years. She developed friendships as tight as family, many of whom are sitting here today.

She enjoyed watching her famous TV. Judges: Judge Joe Mathis, Judge Judy, and Judge Joe Brown, along with Dragnet and the Beverly Hillbillies. Connie also loved to spend time with her family and participate in cookouts. She also enjoyed going to Las Vegas, Reno and Table Mountain. Cha Ching!!! She had a passion for talking (never holding her tongue), dancing, and telling stories. She became a member Greater New Hope Church of Merced, CA in 2013 and attended regularly. Connie also attended Times of Refreshing, where she joined upon arrival to Merced, and many years after.

She was survived by her mother Evelyn Morales of San Francisco, CA, her children Anita Benton (Eddie) of Merced California, Alphonso (Fal) Lyons (Hope) of Modesto, CA, Kneesha Pooler of Merced CA, Alisha Wright of Merced, CA, Alyssa Moore (Tony) of Fort Walton Beach, FL, her siblings Aristide Joseph Morales, JR of San Francisco, CA, Marika Earls of Daly City, CA, Patricia Earls of San Francisco, CA, Nelson Earls of Vallejo, CA, Shonna Earls of Richmond, CA, Ruby Vaugh of Oakland, CA, and Rayshone Wyrick of San Francisco, CA. Connie is also survived by her 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Aristide Morales, SR., her daughter Alisha Hendricks, her sister Gwendolyn Alpough, brother Ruben McFarland, and many great friends.
