Frances Lynetta Palm

Frances worked as a Social Worker for Merced County Human Services. She attended the Church of the Nazarene and was affiliated with Club Mercedes. Frances loved nothing more than planning and throwing parties for her family and friends. She loved experimenting with new recipes and trying them out at family gatherings. She looked forward to every vacation with her children and grandchildren, especially if it involved Disney. Frances was always prepared to decorate for any holiday and loved music, wine and storytelling. Such a huge light and spirit can never be replaced.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband, John Palm, father Thomas, Finney and sister Rebecca Finney.

She is survived by her children, Jamie Palm (Peter Aguayo) of Fresno, Ca., and John Palm (Elizabeth Palm) of Merced, Ca.; her mother Anne Finney of Atwater, Ca.; sisters, Elizabeth Finney of Atwater, Ca; Nephews Keston Finney, Matthew Wilson and Taylor Palm and Niece, Tiffany Palm. Also surviving Frances are 5 grandchildren, Kayla, Eric, Andrew Sonnenfeld and Lily and Vivi Palm.

A visitation for Frances will be held Monday, November 7, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, Merced, California. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Merced Cemetery District, Merced, California.
