Heliodoro López Jiménez (aka Lolo) was born on may 26, 1939 in Tecualtitán Jalisco, Mexico. He was married to his beloved bride, Felipa, for 55 years. In the year of 1970, he permanently moved to California and later moved his family to start a new life in the United States. Lolo, worked in the agricultural industry for over 50 years. First as a farm worker and later as an equipment operator. Thus he loved taking things apart and reconstructing them back together to a new existence.
Lolo, was known for his angelic voice and skillful guitar playing. His love for music led him to learn not only the guitar but various other instruments. His kind hearted spirit was reflected in his contagious smile; a smile that lit up a room with his presence. He cherished and loved his family so much that when he would see all of his family together for the holidays, it would bring tears to his eyes.
First and foremost, Lolo was a husband, a father, a brother, a grandfather, and a great grandfather but also he was a pillar and a source of strength to his family. Lolo passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones on March 29, 2023. He is survived by his children; Maria Luisa Lopez Diaz (Ramiro Diaz), Ignacio Lopez, Miguel Angel Cornejo (Paz Cornejo), Daniel Lopez (Edna Lopez), Veronica Lopez, Delia Lopez, Rosa Turner (Paul Turner) and Jose Luis Lopez. Heaven has gained another angel. We love you so very much and you will always be with us.
