Mr. Herbert Fensin was born on May 7, 1929 to Alex Fensin and Gertrude Marks in Chicago, Illinois and passed away on October 20, 2015 in Merced, California. Herbert had previously lived in Gilroy for 20 years and
Merced for 16 years.
Herbert had served in The Marine Corp, 1St Division during the Korean Conflict. After discharging from The Marine Corp, Herbert later retired after 35 years from Lockheed Martin as a Sr. Design Engineer.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Irene Fensin; and granddaughter, Susan Fensin; brothers, Mort and Donald Fensin.
He is survived by his wife Lydia Fensin; daughter, Suzanne Fensin of Gilroy, Ca; Son, Gregory Fensin of Georgetown, Ky; granddaughter, Cassandra Fensin of Atwater, Ca; nephew, Walter Openshaw of Drytown, Ca.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, Ca. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home.
