Illa Belle Campini

February 11, 1929 ~January 4, 2013

Illa passed away peacefully at the age of 83. She was born in Eastland, Texas to Noah and Lola Reed, and was one of 11 children. She graduated from Livingston High School and married Elwood (Woody) Campini in August 1947. Illa was a fun, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, whose laughter and love will be sorely missed.

Illa was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood; brothers, Delbert and James Reed; and sisters, Gladys Patterson, Helen Chandler, Alice Parriera and Melba Bettencourt.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Campini (Betty) of Catheys Valley, CA; grandchildren, Steven, Cristen and Logan; daughter, Susan Holmes (David) of Roseburg, OR; grandchildren, Nicole (Bubba), Ashley (Joe); daughter Cynthia Klitz (Steve) of Sherwood, OR; grandchildren, Ryan, Stephanie (Blade) and Brett; great grandchildren, Cody, Hayden, Carli, Noah, Heath and Harper; and sisters, Alta Morris, Eunice Norris, Lola Williams and Gail Faulkenberry.

A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Atwater Baptist Church, 2124 1st Street, Atwater, CA at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 2380 E. Childs Ave., Merced, CA 95340. Private Interment will be held.
