John married Bridget Lane and they lived together in Merced, California. Together they raised 3 children, Jason Poynor, John Lane and Jessica Lane. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
John was a loving husband, father and grandfather and he will be missed dearly.
John graduated from Merced High School. He worked in management in the automotive industry and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. John served his country in the United States Navy.
