John Andrew MacMillan was born on February 8, 1933 in Massachusetts and passed away at the age of 85 on October 23, 2018 in Merced. John was a resident of Atwater, California for the past 28 years, living prior in San Jose, California for 30 years.
John was an accountant and served in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Castle Air Force Base in Atwater California.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mary MacMillan and sister Margaret Ricko.
He is survived by his loving wife Norma MacMillan of Atwater, California, children Rebecca Smith of Yerington, Nevada, Jacqueline Vye, of Fernley, Nevada and Rachel Bustos of Atwater, California. He also leaves behind his brothers Donald MacMillan and Russell MacMillan both of Taunton, Massachusetts as well as 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday November 2, 2018 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Plainsburg Cemetery located at 8943 Gillette Avenue, Le Grand, California 95333.
