Josie was a previous resident of San Jose, CA for over 50 years, and resided in Atwater, CA for the past 2 years. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Atwater. Josie loved to sew and quilt. She was a loving mom, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was very loving to everyone. We love and miss you Mom!
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guillermo and Josefina Roach, and sister, Marina Rios.
She is survived by her children, Nadine Sweet, Ronnie Sweet, Tonya Dominguez, Kelly Sweet, and Richard Sweet; brothers, Carl, Art, Richard, Bill, Rubin, and Marion; sisters, Regina, Carmen, Marina, Elizabeth, and Martha; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, CA.
