Manuel Jimenez Martinez

Manuel enjoyed living life, which for him included his music, Karaoke, his bands, watching the 49ers and SF Giants play. He was very proud of his baseball team (Planada Queens) undefeated girls team he coached for ten years. His favorite pastime was playing his bass and singing. Spending time with his family and friends especially his grandkids. He was funny and enjoyed working in his yard. Manuel had a big heart and was always there to lend a helping hand. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Manuel leaves behind his loving partner Connie Barham; Mother Socorro J. Martinez; Father Eulalio Martinez; son Rudy Martinez (Tammy Sequeira) of Chowchilla, daughters Crystal Villagomez (Ruben Villagomez) of Planada, Damaris Garcia (Mitch Garcia) of Chowchilla, Brother Raymond Martinez (Shelly Bamburg), sisters Elvira O`Campo (Joaquin O`Campo) of Le Grand CA, Mary Lou Trillas (Juan Trillas), Bertha Martinez- Hernandez of Planada and his beloved 14 Grandchildren. Manuel was preceded in death by his brother Mario Martinez of Planada, CA and a sister Mary Gandara of Texas.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home. A funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Apostolic Tabernacle. Burial will follow at Plainsburg Cemetery.
