With deep love and gentle remembrance, we celebrate the life of Mario Alberto Loredo, who passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025, in Winton, California. Born in Edinburg, Texas, Mario lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep kindness, and an unwavering devotion to those he loved.
Mario is preceded in death by his loving parents, Antonio Nava Loredo and Esperanza Anzaldua Loredo, and by his cherished family dog, Cheyenne Loredo, who passed in 2023, and his nephew, “Markie” Loredo. He is survived by his devoted wife, Stella M. Loredo; his siblings, Adriana Loredo Coronado-(PJ Coronado), Marianella Loredo, Adalberto Loredo-(Sonia Z. Loredo) and Marcos Loredo; many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, uncle, aunts, beloved neighbors and his sweet baby dog Luna Loredo, whom he loved dearly and who brought joy and comfort to his days.
A proud graduate of Le Grand High School (Class of 1977), Mario enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1977 alongside his best friend-“compadre” Mike Hartwell. His time in service reflected his deep sense of loyalty, patriotism, and camaraderie—qualities he carried throughout his life.
After his military service, Mario followed in his father's footsteps as a skilled craftsman, earning multiple trade certifications and dedicating over 27 years to Maxwell Construction. He retired in 2024, ready to enjoy more time with Stella, family, and the everyday joys that filled his heart.
Mario was a man of many passions—gardening, fishing, camping, cooking, and playing guitar, especially his favorite Elvis Presley songs. He held a deep respect for Native American culture and walked through life with quiet faith and a giving spirit. His hands could fix almost anything, and his heart was always open.
Though we grieve his loss, we are grateful for the gift of his life—a life that brought comfort, joy, and love to all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the hearts he touched, and in the simple, beautiful moments he created every day.
