Mel was born to William and Clara Fraser in Hastings, Nebraska on May 31, 1943. He passed away October 17, 2010 in Merced, California. Mel served 20 years in the United States Navy.
He leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Katy Fraser; his two sons, Rick and Brian Fraser; 3 grandchildren, Christopher, Brittany and Amanda Fraser; step children, Crystal, Jennifer, Misty, Barbara, Kelli, and Justin; and 22 step grandchildren. He had many friends and will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. with a service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home. Burial will follow the services at 1:30 p.m. at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, California.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Milton’s name to Disabled American Veterans at dav.org.
