Pearl Robinson

November 13, 1923-October 12, 2011

Pearl Adkins Robinson was born on November 13, 1923 and passed away October 12, 2011 in Balico, CA at the age of 87. She was born in Lincoln Co., WV near Midkiff up-on-10 mile.

Pearl was preceded in death by her first husband, James Henry Robinson; father, Bernie Adkins; mother, Ella MosaLette Adkins; and brothers, Donnie and Raymond Adkins.

Pearl was survived by her son, Richard Robinson of Cressey, CA and brothers, Cliff Adkins of WV, Vernon Adkins of WV, and Paul Adkins of KY.

She was born on Friday the 13th on her mother’s birthday which was also a Friday the 13th.

Moms always worked till she retired from Defense Plants for WWII, where they manufactured ammo and engine piston rings for military vehicles; waitressing; and worked in local canneries. She was a resident of Merced Co., around Livingston and Cressey, CA, from 1968-2011. Moms loved to travel and crossed the USA many times. She also loved all God’s little creatures; dogs, cats, birds, and squirrels, and if they needed help mom was there. Moms was beloved by all and will be missed by all who knew her.

Pearl went to meet God peacefully, in her sleep, after battling many illnesses the last few years.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 2pm at Winton Cemetery.
