Phyllis Johnson, age 76, of Merced, California passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Phyllis was born June 12, 1945 in Casa Grande, Arizona. Phyllis lived in Merced, California for the majority of her 76 years and worked as a Care Provider in the community. She was also a member and regular attendee of the Apostolic Tabernacle Church.
Phyllis is survived by her children, James Darnel Jones, Daphne Turner (Tyrone), and Lamel Dupree Winzer; her brothers, Tony Floyd, JB, and Johnny Johnson (Stacy);and her 23 grandchildren, 36 great grand children, and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elnora Mays and Lloyd Johnson; siblings, Leroy Johnson, Robert Johnson, Mary Salary, and Betty Johnson; and her sons Christopher Jones and Lloyd Patterson.
A Funeral Service will be held for Phyllis on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Stratford Evans Funeral Home in Merced, California.
