Richard served in the United States Navy and worked as a plumber for 35 years. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
Richard's family includes his wife, Glenda Morgan; sons, Hershel Morgan, Martin Wayne Morgan, and Dennis Alan Morgan; daughters, Deanna Lynn Lopez, Melissa Ann Morgan, and Melanie Elaine Wedan; 22 grandchildren; and siblings, Pat, Louie, Bill and Bernard.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 22, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, California.
