Sergio Chavez Damian passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024 in Merced, California at the age of 44 years old. Sergio was a resident of Merced where he lived for 25 years. He is survived by his children Leslie Maria Chavez, Emily Chavez and Alexander Chavez. He also leaves behind a host of family and friends who loved him dearly.
A visitation will take place on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, California.
Vigil Service with rosary will take place on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass to take place at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 519 West 12th Street, Merced, California 95348. Interment will follow at Merced Cemetery District, 1300 B Street, Merced, California.
