Yvonne Carole Boyles

Yvonne passed away Merced, CA at the age of 84 with her daughter, son and daughter-in-law by her side. Yvonne was the first child born to Perry E. and Lavida M. (Cope) Dennington. Yvonne was raised by her mother Lavida and stepfather Olin Beck. She is survived by two sisters, Sharon (Dave) Cutter and Debbie (Chuck) Miller; children, Keith Ann Stockdale, Barry (Lynnette) Boyles; her grandchildren, Tomothy (Brittany) Glass, Kristen (Phillip deceased) Glass, Scott Boyles, Ashley (Mario) Bandoni and Cole Stockdale; great-grandchildren, Kennedy Glass, Cade Bandoni, Bode Glass, Parker Glass, Bailey Bandoni and Mack Glass. Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband Bailey, grandson Phillip Glass, brother Perry Leroy Dennington and parents Olin and Lavida Beck. Yvonne and Bailey were married for 64 years and were long time cattle ranchers in Hunters Valley. She began working at the age of 17 for Farmers Insurance Agency in Merced, California. Her first job was pushing a mail cart, gradually working her way up to "Cash Receipts Supervisor". She retired from Farmers Insurance after 38 years, to focus on the cattle ranch and to enjoy her grandchildren. Yvonne was a gifted singer, writer and artist.

A celebration of life will be held in Yvonne's honor on 7/8/23.
