May 17 1935 – August 17 2025
Daughter of John and Margaret Rooney of Down Patrick, County Down, Northern Ireland. Eileen was born May 17, 1935 Section 34 Hillerton District, Saltcoats, Saskatchewan and was the 9th of 15 children.
Eileen leaves behind her husband Gordon Prest, Melanie (Klondike) Allison & David. Grand Children & Great Grandchildren: Dustin (Amy) Rome Autumn Callie (Brian) Chance Kinsley Sophia Willow (Andy) Skylar Stori and Chase. As well as her sister Sheila & so many nieces and nephews and cousins that loved her dearly. Eileen was predeceased by her son James Kent Rooney and great grandson Brody Wynne.
Eileen will be missed by all who knew her great Irish spirit and sense of family.

A private family service at St Peter and Paul at noon October 1, 2025 and burial at Little Mountain Cemetery in Chilliwack will be announced at a later date.
Fr. Ron Thompson will officiate.
