Marie Delina Chartier

Mrs. Marie Delina Chartier (nee Normand) passed away peacefully in Merritt, BC on April 11, 2025, at the age of 92.

She is lovingly remembered by her family - Daughters: Rose (Glen) Theriault, of Burnaby, BC and Helen Renaud, of Merritt, BC; Sons: Arthur (Rea) Chartier, of McBride, BC and Roy (Pat) Chartier of Kamloops, BC; her Grandchildren: Elysia (Richard) Drobott and great-grandson Aiden, of Burnaby, BC and Laura (Brendon) Christy and great-grandson Hudson of Merritt, BC (family of Helen); Debra (Gary) Pijnenburg and great-granddaughter Tala, of Prince George, BC and Charles (Mandy) Chartier and great-grandson Brody, of Marlboro, Alberta (family of Arthur); Ezra (Haley) Theriault, of Burnaby, BC (family of Rose).

Marie Chartier was predeceased by her loving husband, Noel J Chartier, in 2001 and her grandson Richard Chartier of Kamloops, BC in 2024. (family of Roy)

Marie was a loving mother, grandmother and great-gran, eldest sister, friend, great listener & counselor, who liked to garden, cook, bake, was very caring and supportive to her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 13/2025, at the Merritt Cemetery at 10:30am, where her son Arthur Chartier will say a prayer and read Scripture.
