December 28, 1941 - May 16, 2025
Audrey Jo Young, a woman of unwavering faith and boundless love, passed away peacefully at home on May 16, 2025, at the age of 83. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to those who knew her.
Born on December 28, 1941 in Lewisville, Washington, Audrey Jo Young was adopted by Frederick Baldwin Michael Young and Josephine Marie Kearns Young in Moscow, Idaho while an infant. She had a happy childhood in Idaho. She enjoyed spending time outdoors with her father and mother.
In 1960, Audrey married Richard C. Hummell in Hermosa Beach, California. Richard and Audrey had two children. They divorced in 1971.
In 1972, Audrey married George Ernie Lewis in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were married 39 years, until he passed away in 2011. She cherished her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her love for Jesus was evident in her desire to bring Him glory in all she did. In 2013 Audrey met and married Ron Williams in Cocoa, Florida. They shared two very happy years before his passing.
Audrey is preceded in death by her previous spouses, Richard Hummell, George Lewis, and Ronald Williams, as well as her grandson, Kristopher Steven Policht.

Among her proudest family moments were the graduations of her children and grandchildren. Audrey had a passion for crochet and enjoyed teaching it to those in a local assisted living center. She had a lovely soprano voice and spent much of her life singing in the church choir.
Before retiring and moving to Florida, Audrey worked as a school food service manager in the Five Cities area of California’s Central coast. She loved to serve and cook, often feeding the homeless and planning weddings for her church congregation in Pismo Beach, California.
Audrey's life was a testament to her love for her family, her faith, her church (First Church of the Nazarene in Merritt Island, Florida) and her community. Her legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by all she knew.
