Charlie Meeker, 73, of Cocoa went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Charlie, also known to his family as "Buck" was born in Deland, FL on November 29, 1939. A long time resident of Brevard County he was employed as a Material Manager at Kennedy Space Center. He is survived by his son, Scott Meeker and wife Christy, daughter Tanya Porter and husband Kenny, his mother Bertha Lee Scott, brother, Joseph "Bud" Brinson and wife Rose, sisters, Janice Quirk and Alyce Dillingham and husband Jim and four grandchildren, John Hartin, Lee Hartin and wife Taylor, Jacob and Zachary Meeker also a great-grandson Will Hartin. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Friday, December 6, 2013 at Cocoa Presbyterian Church, 1404 Dixon Blvd, Cocoa, Fl.
