Ella Myrtle Caruso passed away February 15, 2016. She was born April 1, 1918 in Staley, North Carolina. She graduated from Elon College in Elon, NC where she met her husband. Ella was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Joseph Caruso, in 1989. She is survived by her two children: Edna Louise Caruso of Palm Beach, FL and Joe Teague Caruso of Merritt Island, FL; brother, Bobby Teague of Staley, NC; three grandchildren: Nicole Seropian, Michael Caruso, and Joe Teague Caruso Jr.; and five great-grandchildren.
She resided in North Carolina until she moved to Dade City, FL in 1956 before moving to Cocoa, FL in 1961. She enjoyed flowers and plants and took great pride in having the most beautiful yard wherever she lived. She was awarded the Beautification Award by the City of Rockledge on three separate annual occasions.
She will be buried next to her husband at Brevard Memorial Park on March 12, 2016. A celebration of life reception will be held for family and friends following the burial.
