Joseph “Larry” Fisher left this earth suddenly on Monday November 18, 2013 in the early morning hours. Larry was born in Maryland on October 2, 1947. He served in the USMC from 1967-1972. After leaving the Marine Corps, he moved to the Boston area. In 1980 he moved to Florida to escape the cold weather. Here he met and married his wife of 30 years, Marie, who survives him. Larry is also survived by his son Brad Fisher (Brooke) and 1 month old grandson Peter Vincent; brothers and sisters through marriage; many nieces, nephews and 2 grand nieces.
Larry had a good heart and loved his family. His two great passions were his country and Harley Davidson Motorcycles which he rode since the age of 16.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday November 23, 2013 from 3-5PM at Wylie-Baxley Merritt Island Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Larry’s life at the Island Tiki Grill (Island Lincoln-Jaguar, second floor) from 5-7:30PM.
