As a sister in law, Marcia was always thoughtful and generous.  On the occasions when she visited, she was so engaged with the family and visitors that everyone felt her generous sharing
of interest and concern.
As the mother of David and Marianne, her love was at the forefront of her parenting.
May your legacy of loving care  comfort and inspire your family and friends, and may you
rest with the angels, Marcia.
You  have " fought the good fight and finished the race.".

Marcia was my treasured friend.   We met about 24 years ago and quickly became great friends.  We had a lot of fun in nature and talking for hours on end around the campfire.  One evening it started to rain and we stood there holding umbrellas over our campfire bound and determined we were going to save it.   We shared a huge laugh out of that for years.  Another time we were hiking in the woods just talking and laughing when we realized it was getting dark.  We could not find our way out as it became darker and suddenly I stopped and threw my hands up and called out “God please help us”, immediately we heard dogs barking followed by Mens voices. Two hunters came up and showed us back to where we left my car.  That was a miracle I got to experience with Marcia.  She taught me by example what it meant to be a wonderful Grandma when my time came.  I also paid her back by talking about them all the time. LOL!  She was self proclaimed to be the biggest introvert ever.  I’m so glad that didn’t stop me from befriending her.  David, Marianne and Alex were her life. She loved them all fiercely.  I’m immensely grateful that I got to be her friend.  

    I was a colleague of Marcia's for 20+ years at Carmel High School.  The ever-pleasant smile in her obituary photo was a constant during the time I knew her.  I can't remember ever seeing her really upset or angry during that time we shared.  
   She helped thousands of students during her teaching career and I'm sure left many of them with the same good memories I have of her.

I am very sad to see this. She was a lovely teacher, so kind and always thoughtful. I have great respect for her and am sorry to read about her passing. May she be at peace.

Your mom was my babysitter I have such fond memories of her and I’m so sorry to hear about her passing. She made my laugh. She was such a bright light.

We met in Girl Scouts and became friends after that.  Marcia had sunny disposition which she kept although she didn't have an easy life.
I'm sorry we lost touch over the years, but I have many fond memories of her.  I know how proud she was of David ,and Lisa.
